Would you expect the direct website traffic of a 20-year-old restaurant to increase by 77.33% year-over-year? We are talking about people typing in directly into their browsers, skipping search engines and other platforms. Guess what! It just happened less than two and a half months after launching our Oceans 234 campaign. The overall website traffic was also up by 42.62%. Our client started getting complaints that it was too hard to make a reservation. And all this was despite the menu prices and check totals going up.

So, how did we get here? We started with a new strategic positioning of the restaurant as a place to impress a client, date, friend, or relative. We directed photo and video shoots to capture the mouth-watering look of the food and the stunning oceanfront views. We wrote dozens of witty headlines to disarm, entertain, and excite our audience of upper-middle-class foodies. Our traditional brand-building campaign could not afford a traditional media buy, but we were able to saturate the social space in the targeted area. It worked.
